How it works
Type your total budget in your own currency, then the destination, guest count, nights, functions and hotel standard. The calculator divides the money between rooms, food, venue, décor, photography, music, guest care and our fee in the proportions a wedding like yours usually costs, and tells you whether the budget is tight, in range or has room. For 150 guests over three nights in Kerala, most couples spend about ₹42.4–92.8 lakh (about US$44,000–97,000).

Questions couples ask
How should a wedding budget in India be divided?
Rooms and food take the largest share of a destination wedding, because both scale with every guest and every night. Venue hire, décor, photography and music follow. Our planning fee is 8–12% of the budget we manage, with a minimum for destination weddings.
What is the difference between this and the cost calculator?
The cost calculator starts from the wedding and tells you what it costs. This one starts from the money you have and divides it, then says whether that wedding fits. They use the same rate bands, so you can move between them with the same numbers.
My budget is marked tight. What changes the most?
Guest numbers, because rooms and food multiply with each guest; then the hotel standard, then the month. Peak months in most destinations are November to February. The options under the split are each computed for your wedding.
Does the budget include flights and taxes?
No. Guests usually book their own flights, and GST is added to Indian invoices. Everything else is included.
