Wedding itinerary builder: every function, in order

Guests ask the same three things: when, where and what to wear. Answer all three once.

Updated Kalyan Co Planning Team

How it works

Add each function with its date, time, place and a dress note: the welcome dinner, mehndi and haldi, the sangeet, the ceremony, the sadya, the reception. The builder sorts them into days and gives you a guest link, a WhatsApp message and a calendar file with one event per function in India time. Nothing is stored: the link itself carries the schedule, so you can edit it any time by opening your own link.

Questions couples ask

What goes in an Indian wedding itinerary?

Each function with its date, start time, venue and dress note: typically a welcome dinner, mehndi and haldi, a sangeet, the ceremony itself (with the muhurtham time), a lunch or sadya, and the reception. Add one line guests need to know for each, such as when to be seated.

How far ahead should guests get the itinerary?

Send a draft with the invitation, three months ahead, so guests can book flights around the first and last functions. Send the final version two weeks before, and a WhatsApp reminder the night before each function.

Is the itinerary stored on your servers?

No. The whole schedule is compressed into the link. If you lose the link, you lose the schedule, so keep it in your notes.

Can guests add it to their phone calendar?

Yes. The guest link and the calendar file add one event per function, in India time, with the place and dress note in the details.
